The lobby bar, led by restaurateur Gabriel Stulman's Happy Cooking Hospitality, offers a menu from his family of West Village restaurants. For quick bites, a takeout outpost of the popular Noho café The Smile is located on-site, run by Matt Kliegman, Carlos Quirarte, and Melia Marden.

Art & Design

Freehand New York features a custom art partnership with Bard College, displaying installations created by students and alumni throughout the property. The hotel's design by the renowned firm Roman and Williams draws inspiration from historical figures like Georgia O'Keeffe, housed in the former George Washington Hotel once home to writers and musicians. The property also hosts cultural events and workshops open to guests and locals.
